Celebrating Success at the Illawarra Business Awards
The Australian College won the award category for Education in the Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards on Friday 16th November 2007.
The category was open to educational institutions including training organisations, primary, secondary and tertiary schools, individual university campuses and colleges.
In accepting the award Director James Moran said “We are very excited to receive the award as its great recognition for the commitment and hard work of all of our people. Our success comes from our ability to work closely with employers to tailor training to meet their needs as well as assisting them to access government incentives that may be available.” Our team of dedicated trainers work very hard to support trainees in Business, Finance, Management and Information Technology and the team continues to grow to service our continued business growth.”

Mortgage Broking Qualification
Our Certificate IV Financial Services (Mortgage Broking) course is seeing increased enrolments.
Brokers are starting to realise that their new staff can take advantage of government funding to pay for the course (except for the compulsory fee of $394) and in some cases receive $4000* in incentives.
It's great for existing brokers too because sometimes government incentives can pay for the course.

College Broadens its reach into Victoria
In response to one of our clients Datacom wanting the College to deliver training in Victoria for their trainees with the same support and development opportunities as their collegues in Sydney,
the College has partnered with a number of Victorian TAFE institutes to enable the training to occur.

College also broadens its reach into South East Queensland
In February this year the college also formed an alliance with a training company in Toowoomba called rapt BUSINESS SOLUTIONS who support local businesses with professional training in business services.
rapt will deliver business qualifications in Frontline and Small Business Management to students in their region and will rely on the expertise, training materials and assessment processes provided by the College.
