About The Team


 
Linda O'Shea
CEO and Director
Linda commenced with us on 10 December and comes to us with vast experience in Financial Services and Manufacturing. Linda’s most recent role was with Horizon Credit Union where she was the Business Risk Manager as part of the Senior Management Team. Her last project was managing the computer conversion from Corvis to Ultra Data.

Linda is highly qualified with degree qualifications in Accounting.




 
James Moran
Director
James joined the College as a Director in January 2005. James brings with him over 20 years experience in the finance sector in a range of roles including Operations Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, HR, Financial Controller and Member Service. James' expertise also extends to "wealth management product implementation".

James is highly qualified with a Master in Commerce (HR), Bachelor in Commerce and Diplomas in Financial Services and Frontline Management. James specialises in business development and delivery of specialist consultancy services offered by the College.

James fills his "spare" time as a Board Member of Berrima District Credit Union.




 
Lisa Jones
Managing Director
Lisa has 10 years experience in the Finance sector, and 10 years in the Educational sector - predominately in HR and Training roles. Lisa's skills in problem solving and business planning have meant that across her career, Lisa has been recruited to manage a variety of large business projects and so has also developed strong compliance and IT skills.

Lisa has a Masters in Labour Law and Relations from Sydney University and a Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce from Wollongong University. She also holds a range of Certificate and Diploma qualifications in Training and Management.

Lisa is one of those mad home renovators... but she never quite gets the renovations finished!




 
Brett Riddett
Training Manager
Brett is the Colleges "IT" consultant, bringing a wide range of knowledge about the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries.

Brett holds Diploma qualifications in Management and Information Technology and has Certificate IV qualifications in Customer Contact, Training and Assessment, IT and Business.

Brett's hobbies include coaching soccer and futsal, walking and reading.




 
Cheryl Lynch
Training Manager
Cheryl is one of those highly skilled trainers who can make every training course worthwhile and enjoyable. She has an enormous amount of experience delivering training to a wide range of students across several industries.

A background in both front-line and managerial roles has given Cheryl the ideal background to draw upon for her training delivery. Cheryl holds formal qualifications in Finance, Business, Marketing and Training and Assessment.

Her favourite part of her job is seeing how far students can take themselves when they have someone to motivate and encourage them. Learning really is a life long journey.

She loves her job, but occasionally escapes are important too! Bitten by the travel bug since her first overseas trip, Cheryl still has a big list of places to visit and people to meet all around the globe.



 
Joanne Hinge
Training Manager
Jo has an impressive wealth of knowledge in the Finance industry, with over 20 years experience in areas ranging from frontline service to executive management roles with responsibility for loan and insurance portfolios and performance; collections; new product introduction; branch networks; and community relationships.

Jo has Diplomas in Frontline Management and Financial Service, and Certificate IV qualifications in Training and Assessment and Small Business, and Certificate 3 in Mercantile Agents. Jo uses her experience and qualifications to run the Colleges highly successful small business program.

When away from work Jo enjoys the company of her family and good friends.




 
Pia Angelucci
Training Manager
Pia is another of our Training Managers who brings to her role a wealth of industry experience. Pia has worked in lending, business development and branch roles before joining the College as a Training Manager.

Pia has qualifications in Management, Financial Services and Training and Assessment.

When away from work, Pia enjoys an active lifestyle with the Kembla Joggers.




 
Nicola Owens
Training Officer
Nicola started with the College in January 2008. Nicola previously worked extensively in Management roles within Call Centres and has a strong financial background specialising in Superannuation. She was responsible for staff development and provided a number of training courses in a large Corporation.

Outside work Nicola is involved in a range of community activities but her favourite is Camp Quality, where she has been involved for 15 years.





 
Fiona Stephens
Training Co-ordinator
Fiona started with the College in May 2007 after leaving a successful career as a qualified chef. Not only does the College get a great new employee but awesome morning teas!

Fiona has made an impressive start to her business career - it isn't an easy job co-ordinating the materials and bookings for the Training Managers!





 
Sharon Rich
Training Manager
Besides her strong background in the finance industry, Sharon also set up and ran her own business for many years. Joining the College in 2004, she really adds to the diversity and expertise of our team.

Sharon sees the lion's share of your student's assessment tasks and is committed to providing feedback that is motivating and instructive. Students really appreciate the added value! As well as assessing, Sharon also manages the wonderful administration team at the College.

Life's busy, but when it's time for a break Sharon and her family like to pack up the tent and find a place to slow down and enjoy the freedom of camping somewhere peaceful.




 
Melissa Draper
Administration Officer
Melissa started at the College in January 2007 as an Administration trainee, and completing Certificate III in Business Administration. She has gone on to start Certificate IV.

Her main responsibility is to ensure all brochures, course modules and marketing materials are up to date and uploaded to our webpage.

In her time away from work, Melissa loves to hang out with friends and family,go shopping and cruise in the zetec.




 
Suzie Weir
Office Administrator
Suzie joined the College in late 2007 as an Office Assistant.

Suzie looks after processing the Assessment Tasks received from students, and sending out course materials.

After work Suzie is an active member of Kembla Joggers.




 
Linda Kelly
Enrolment Officer
Linda also came to the College as an Administration trainee. She has completed her Certificate III in Business Administration qualification and has almost completed her Certificate IV in Business Administration qualification.

Linda's main responsibilities are process student enrolments.

Linda is deaf and is determined to try anything new in life. She is great at lip-reading and uses Auslan Sign Language. Her interests include: Swimming, BBQ's, fishing, animals, camping and spending time with her darling man and family.




 
Judy Sewell
Accounts
Judy has an extensive finance background and is truly a gem when it comes to numbers.

Her role is to update / maintain the College's accounts.

When not working Judy looks after her wonderful husband, granddaughter and garden and loves to travel.




 
Iain Gardiner
IT Manager
Iain's role is to develop appropriate IT systems to support the College business systems. Keeping abreast of the lastest technology and reporting requirements is an important part of our success. Iain's role includes supporting the Colleges computer network, as well as developing the College database, and updating our website.

After work, Iain likes to play soccer.




 
Peter Cochrane
IT Consultant
Peter is on contract to offer specialist support for our IT systems.

A keen bushwalker, Peters also knows a thing or two about surviving in the great outdoors. When he's not doing this, you'll probably find him kicking up his heels on the dance floor.
